A Practical Guide to Evil is a serialized fantasy novel about a young girl named Catherine Foundling making her way through a world that fundamentally operates off narrative tropes, and where good and evil are more than theoretical concepts. Introduced to the power of Evil by the powerful and enigmatic Black Knight Amadeus, she struggles with doing bad things for good reasons. Is she doing the right things, or is she just rationalizing her desire for control? Good and Evil are tricky concepts, and the more power you get the blurrier the lines between them become. |
